When creating the opening segment for The Lessons Behind The Lectures I wanted to create the impression of it have a clear strong brand. So taking heed from Great Lives and Desert Island Discs I decided that have a short jingle followed by a voice over of Dave detailing the shows name and who is made by added an air of professionalism to the show. Also I believe that this style would be perfect for my intended audience and that this type of production would immediately grab the listener.
